The new HL LiveCD release is fully based on Kali-Rolling Linux with the Hacking-Lab tools and the Hacking-Lab OpenVPN GUI. Please give it a try!

KALI-HL-LCD

Download the new 10-10 release, the officially supported HL-LiveCD for solving Hacking-Lab challenges. KALI-HL-LCD is based on Kali-Rolling (XFCE) with 64-bit support. Please download and import the provided OVA for VMware or VirtualBox and start solving Hacking-Lab riddles and security challenges.

Download & Install ISO Image

We recommend using the LiveCD OVA appliance instead of using the ISO. But if you prefer the ISO, please proceed as listed below:

  1. Please download the LiveCD ISO file
  2. Make sure your PC boots from the CDROM (ISO).
  3. Choose live or install
  4. With live, the username is hacker with the password live
  5. With install, the username is hacker with the password compass
  6. With install, please make sure you have internet access. Otherwise the installer will fail at the end of the installation when installing grub
  7. Get root privileges with sudo -i
